The resorption of zinc can be reduced by the simultaneous administration of zinc and phosphates, iron, copper and calcium salts.
Zinc reduces the resorption of tetracyclines, ofloxazin and other quinolones (e.g. Norfloxacin, Ciprofloxacin).

For this reason a time interval of at least 3 hours should be maintained between the ingestion of zinc and these specified medicines.
